A scratch night is a chance to see performances while they are still being made, and to give the artists feedback which can then be incorporated as they develop their work. You get the chance to see exciting new pieces of theatre before they become the next big hits and talk to the performers and companies on the night!

On July 1st 2017, we hosted our first event: a SOLD OUT scratch night at Circus Hub in Sneinton.

There were four acts, each sharing work in progress, and the night was hosted by all-female comedy collective Major Labia. Audiences not only got the chance to give their feedback on the performances they saw, they were also treated to free party bags, a party playlist of female anthems, a bar, tasty vegan snacks from Numinums, and a raffle - which culminated in the smashing of the patriarchy piñata!

We loved it so much, we hosted more of these great eventss - at Nottingham Playhouse & at Curve , Leicester!
