What we do!

In March 2018 we celebrated with six days of awesome artists and companies offering performances, workshops, discussions, a scratch night (showcasing new work in development), and a late night afterparty hosted by Nottingham’s finest: Fan Club!

We took over Nottingham Playhouse, and filled every nook with laughter, maybe some tears (we’ll cry if we want to), world-class theatre, comedy and cabaret!

A scratch night is a chance to see performances as they are being made.

You get the chance to see exciting new pieces of theatre, before they become the next big hit! There is a chance to offer feedback on the work and talk to the performers and companies on the night.

We have hosted scratch events at Circus Hub, as part of the 2018 Festival, and at Curve's Inside-Out Festival.

We throw parties for ALL, and our Open House events are a time to throw wide the doors and ask YOU to join the conversation. We developed Open House events to collectively support the voices that want to be heard, tell the stories that need to be told, and reach the people who need to see themselves represented on stage.

We love inviting an audience into a space, to discuss the arts and theatre scene and explore what they want to see more of! Past events have been hosted at Curve in Leicester; Nottingham Playhouse; Derby Book Festival; Circus Hub; and at Trinity School, Nottingham, as part of Centenary Cities Nottingham.
